In the latest of this great mystery series ” The Hollow Girl”, we find Moe Prager, a retired cop of Jewish heritage, born and raised in New York City, cancer survivor.Now that Moe is retired and after his girlfriend had died, he is clinically depressed and trying to go through life drinking and reminiscing of the good times.But when a woman , Nancy related to a case from his police past comes back into his life asking him to help her find his daughter. Old feelings arise and Moe feels pulled almost by a gravitational force to help Nancy to find her missing daughter. Her missing daughter ,however, is not a conventional girl. In these modern times, she’s what we call an Internet sensation who had in the past pulled teathrical performances and online stunts that have gained her as many fans as detractors. But the case complicates when Moe finds the body of an unknown woman in the apartment of the missing girl.
I absolutely love this book.It’s engaging and so descriptive of the emotional struggles and failures of the characters, one more flawed than the other.The pace is great and the story so intriguing that you will devouring this mystery in no time.
