By Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell

Imagine what it would be like to act in a bad movie. Now imagine what it would be like to be in a movie so bad, it becomes a cult hit and has people asking how on earth it was produced? Look no further than The Disaster Artist. Recounting his time making the infamously bad film ‘The Room’ and his friendship with the puzzling star Tommy Wiseau, Sestero gives us an intriguing, entertaining story. He does talk about his personal journey as an actor, but that takes a backseat to the far more interesting “Behind the Scenes” stories. The one downside is that we come away knowing too little about Tommy Wiseau, despite his and Sestero’s friendship. Perhaps Wiseau is meant to remain mysterious.

This book is also the basis for the new James Franco film ‘The Disaster Artist’!  Find this book in our online catalog here.
