Lulu has her sights set on San Diego University when her dad drops the bomb that he no longer can afford to send her off to college, but Lulu is one determined teen, and she isn’t about to let her dreams slip through her fingers. So when an old still shows up at the junkyard where she and her best friend work, they decide to heist it to make and sell moonshine. Think rural teen Breaking Bad.
I loved this book. The interesting structure: Lulu writing the story to her love interest, Mason, was intriguing. The depth of each character, their relationships, as well as the unique and thorough development of the plot, all built this book into an intriguing, unique, and very authentic read. Wonderful.
