I was so glad to get my hands in the newest novel by Sophie Kinsella for the Shopaholic series. I have followed the adventures of Rebecca Brandon, née Bloomwood from the first book and all of the books so I was really looking forward to this one and it certainly didn’t disappoint me.

In this book , Rebecca “Becky” follows her husband Luke Brandon to Hollywood when he accepts to take on a new customer, moving from the financial world to the entertainment one. Luke has taken a famous actress Sage Seymour, talented but hard to handle under his wing and it’s having a hard time trying to create a positive image for her. Becky is excited to be in Hollywood and has brought Minnie , her daughter along with her. She also has convinced her best friend Suze ( Lady Cleath-Stuart) to bring along her husband Tarquin and children to enjoy a well deserved holiday. But as usual every time Becky set her mind to something, she becomes laser focused and trouble seems to follow her. This time drama involves meeting again her long time nemesis Alicia who is the owner of “Golden Leaf” , an influential and trendy wellness spa-like center .

This book is so easy to read because it is so engaging and you can’t wait to turn the page and see what else is awaiting . The pace is so fast and it has many fun scenes and some dramatic ones. The ending however has a huge cliffhanger which will have you wanting to read the next one right away.

If you would like to read this book, you can find it here in our catalog ,  an ebook and available also as an Audiobook format.

Happy Reading,

Jackie M small
