Nothing to wear? : a 5-step cure for the common closet / Jesse Garza and Joe Lupo
The authors Jesse Garza and Joe Lupo explain Visual Therapy, a personal shopping service for women created a few years ago for people who don’t have the time or the knowledge to select pieces of their wardrobe who reflect their real personality and makes them feel beautiful from the inside. Through five simple steps that include finding your personal style, doing a purge and shopping for missing pieces to complete your wardrobe, the authors guide the reader through what most morning constitute a battle for anyone who has to get up and find they literally have nothing to wear but their closets are full of pieces.
The authors first help you to define your style by answering a series of simple questions to be able to find the category or categories that you are mostly inclined. Styles include :classic, chic, whimsical, bohemian and avant-garde which covered most fashion tendencies these days.
I like that the authors are very unassuming and are using fashion and style to try to empower women through making smarter choices when going clothing-shopping and closet-editing. Also if you look good, you’ll feel good. One of the things that i love is that they don’t recommend brands or specific items but rather give you an idea of items that should be staples in your wardrobe and you can buy them whenever you can afford them ,at your own pace , at your own rhythm , in your own time.
