The_Absolutely_True_Diary_of_a_Part-Time_Indianby Sherman Alexie

Not for the faint of heart. This is the sometimes funny, sometimes gut-wrenching story of Junior’s life growing up on the rez. He chooses to take his future into his own hands and attend the nearby school, which is all white. The only other Indian around is the school mascot. Based partly on Alexie’s life, the voice is authentic and gritty.
