Why read? Do you like Dystopian Fiction? Never Let Me Go is a beautifully written, subtle and heartbreaking look at childhood and innocence. I loved it! I kept wondering what the society was like which ignored and actually vilified the thousands of children born as clones for use as donors.
Although you don’t actually get to see into this society, you do delve deep into the experience of one child as she grows first into “carer”, then into “donor”, and the heartbreaking friendships she makes and loses along the way.
