In the 5th book in this mystery series by Joanna Campbell Slan, we find once again Kiki Lowenstein as a young widow trying to raise well her daughter Anya after the death of her husband with the help of her well intentioned but meddling mother in law Sheilah. Her life becomes a little more difficult when dumpster-diving looking for her paycheck, she finds a severed leg. The new employee at the scrapbooking store Bama where she works is also making her life difficult. Trying to keep her life together, working at the scrapbooking store that she loves so much, and also trying to find out who keeps leaving her threatening letters.
Kiki is such an easy character to relate to, always insecure, full of good intentions and trying to stay out of trouble and somehow trouble always keeps finding her. A delightful story interlaced with scrapbooking and paper crafts tips.
